Matthew Griffiths is an experienced retailer and entrepreneur. He spent 7 years at the John Lewis Partnership in a variety of trading positions, before moving to John Menzies where he held senior buying and operational positions. In 1994 he was recruited by the TJX Corporation as part of a core team to help set up their European Division, known as T K Maxx. Matthew held a variety of Senior Executive positions in Buying and Merchandising at TK Maxx. Mr. Griffiths left TK Maxx in 2004, the company now profitable and with an annual turnover of over £400m. Matthew has wide ranging global sourcing experience, and has directly operated in a large number of overseas markets Eg India, China, Egypt, Turkey Slovakia, Poland, Slovenia and Uzbekistan. Matthew is responsible for Trading and Operations.
